Comic Readings
There’s only one way to get Germans interested in comics: you have to read them aloud to them!
Based on this experience, comic book readings have become a staple of the German-speaking comic book scene. A comic reading is a live format that basically works just like a literary reading. The only difference is that the comic panels are projected using a projector or smartboard to accompany the author's voice. This creates an exciting audiovisual live format that is becoming increasingly popular in Germany.
A comic reading of The Thud, Golden Boy, or der verkehrte Himmel lasts about 60 minutes and is held in German.
